Resume for the KEIP Applications for the Kauffman Entrepreneurial Internship Program must include a resume and an entrepreneurial essay. The resume must be prepared in a professional manner, free of spelling and grammatical errors and be specifically prepared for applying for the KEIP. It should address, at a minimum, the applicant's leadership skills, computer skills, results & accomplishments from any work or volunteer experiences, degree of involvement in activities, honors earned and educational highlights. It should show the candidate's academic major, cumulative GPA and anticipated graduation date. The resume must contain information necessary to contact the candidate by all possible means - mail, phone or email at both campus and home locations. The reader should not have to research information that the applicant omitted. The resume paints a picture of the applicant. Remember that first impressions are often lasting impressions, and the resume creates that first impression.
