Minor in Marine Science

The minor in marine science is intended to supplement a variety of major studies. Marine science is important to understand the many
environmental problems that our modern society faces. In North Carolina, the state legislature recently passed a resolution that will require high school students to pass a course in Earth/Environmental Science, and one of the topics is oceanography/marine science.
