Sponsored by the USDA Capacity Building Grant for undergraduate faculty development, the 2002 Summer 'Workshop was held in Weslaco, Texas.  The USDA Kiko de la Garza Agricultural Research Center in Weslaco Texas hosted the workshop, including tours of their facilities, and field trips to agricultural areas where remote sensing have been used.
