Brian graduated as a Geology major with a minor in Environmental Science and is set to teach environmental sciences courses at the new Pasqoutank County High School beginning Fall of 2000. Brian has been active in the Lab for 2 years doing  water testing and assessments of the Pasquotank River.  He is currently working on the Dismal Swamp Mapping Project
 
 

His duties include:.

Locating aerial photography and satellite imagery of the Dismal Swamp.

Determine areas of excessive water loss (drainage ditches) on ECSU's Dismal Swamp property.

Finding  new and innovative ways to use remote sensing in the process of preserving the Dismal Swamp environment.
