Sam graduated from ECSU in December 0f 1996 with a   B.S. in Geology and a minor in GIS.  He started working with the department in March of 1998.  He supervises Geology, GIS, and Environmental Science Laboratories.

      His duties include:

• Supervising Laboratory Research

• Computer Technician

• GIS Technician

• Project manager for the Pasquotank River Water Quality Study

• Co-investigator of the Dismal Swamp Mapping Project and the Atlantic White Cedar Project

• Equipment and Laboratory safety instructor

• Lecturer
