There will be a 3 day trip to the Savannah River Environmental Field Station operated by South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina from February 3 - 5, 2000.  The trip will consists of visiting environmental sites in South Carolina and Georgia.  This will give students a chance to explore the Savannah River eco-system and also to discuss summer courses and research opportunities.

     This trip is open to all science students, especially ones interested in:
 Environmental Science, Geology, Soils and Hydrology, Biology,  Wetlands and Aquatic Ecology, Botany, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering Technology, Land Use and Conservation and other related fields.

    There are 25 slots available and they will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Travel and hotel costs are free for students, lunch and dinner are not included.  We will be meeting in mid-January to determine the best dates.
