Sid is a December 99' graduate of ECSU. He earned a B.S. in Geology and a minor in Environmental Science. Sid has worked in the ERL for 2 years on several different projects including; microbiology of surface water, Dismal Swamp Peat Project and he is currently administering the Partners in Education program.
His duties include:
Finding new and innovative ways to convey scientific theory and techniques to elementary and middle school students.
Establish a working relationship with teachers and science professionals in the Elizabeth City area.
Assist in establishing the Environmental Video Conferencing Project.
Create, update, and maintain a data-base of information on the environmental educational opportunities in the Albemarle area.
