This was a very interesting and enjoyable trip. Visiting the Savannah River Site (SRS) really gave me some insight on what the site was all about and also on Government spending. The one thing that I did not know is that the Government really tries to save money by coming up with the cheapest way to solve problems like water pollution. One example I saw on the site was the use of plants in a wetlands environment to clean the water.
While visiting the site I also got first hand information on internships, classes, and jobs all on the SRS. This trip alone could result in me getting a job or getting more education in the environment.
I was very satisfied with this trip as a whole. Everything was on schedule and ran smoothly. this trip was worthwhile, and I hope I am fortunate enough to return for another.
