About The Club
If you are interested in mathematics, we are certain you
would find any amount of time you spend with the mathclub extremely rewarding. Membership is by no means based upon mathematical
ability - our only wish is to propagate an interest in the unbelievably
diverse field that is mathematics. Meetings and membership are casual, but we
are a fairly dynamic organization that coordinates numerous mathematical and
social events. Typically, these include: numerous exciting speakers covering
areas from chaos and cryptography and non-Euclidean geometry; training to
participate in math conventions and try your luck with "Who wants to be
Mathematician", educational videos; and simply hanging out and watching
movies like Pi or Austin Powers. We are always open to suggestions for more
activities!
