During your university experience it is possible for you to apply for a co-op or internship experience in industry or with a government agency. Here you receive college credit while learning and working at an industrial or government site. The phrase earn while you learn most certainly fits this experience. Recently our students have been placed for internship experiences at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and for co-op experiences at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
