
INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Insurance and Risk Management Department is to provide technical assistance and service, including procurement of insurance coverage, to the Elizabeth City State University community. The department accomplishes this task through a wide array of proactive insurance and risk management programs aimed at reducing and managing the risk of loss in the University's financial and human resources. The types of insurance purchased through these programs include property, casualty and liability covering potential liability to others for occurrences for which the University may be held legally responsible. The department performs much of its mission related to risk management through effective coordination with other University and State departments and divisions.
