The marketing office develops and/or provides guidance for creating marketing communications strategies and materials. The Director of Marketing collaborates with the university's administration and other key personnel to:
- Shape key messages and institutional position appropriate for specific constituencies and in support of the university's goals
- Increase awareness and perceptions of the University to influence internal and external constituents
- Raise the university's profile and reputation among decision-makers and peers
- Identify communication strategies to support student recruitment, alumni relations, fundraising and specific university initiatives
