Department of Art

The Little Theatre, a 155-seat Proscenium small theatre, is located next to the library. On April 7, 2002, the performing arts center was named for Dr. Floyd L. Robinson, Professor Emeritus, who over three decades served as the director of the Marching Vikings, Assistant to the Chancellor and chair of the Department of Music.

The Fine Arts Complex is home to the Art and Music Departments at ECSU. The Complex is among the newest buildings at ECSU, having opened in January 2000. This complex has a 1000+ seat house. Special ECSU and community events have been hosted in the auditorium, ranging from theatrical performances, jazz and pop concerts, musicals, plays, and ballet and dance performances, in addition to ECSU ensemble performances and student and faculty recitals.
