Thank you for taking the time to visit the Department of Criminal Justice, Sociology and Social Work Website. The Department confers Baccalaureate degrees in the following disciplines: Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice. Effective spring semester 2014, the department will offer an Online Certificate in Criminal Justice Program (click here for more information). Additionally, the Department provides students with an opportunity to minor in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, Gerontology and Sociology (21-26 semester credit hours are needed for a minor).

Located within the School of Arts and Humanities, the principal objective of the Department is the academic and social preparation of undergraduate students. This preparation provides our students with a liberal arts education while preparing them to enter the work force, graduate and professional schools.
