Admission to the Social Work Program

Students who declare Social Work as their major must be formally admitted into the Social Work Program. Students must fulfill the University requirements and maintain a 2.0 grade point average (GPA). Students must earn a grade C or better in General Education, Liberal Arts Pre-Professional, and Professional Social Work Courses. In addition, students admitted into the Social Work Program must maintain a 2.50 GPA in their Pre-Professional and Professional Social Work Courses.
