Typically between their sophomore and junior years, Cadets have the extraordinary opportunity to attend the U.S. Army Airborne School. The Basic Airborne Course, a three week long course divided into three phases - Ground Week, Tower Week, and Jump Week. The goal of the BAC is to instruct and qualify individuals in the use of static line parachutes to successfully jump from Army aircraft while in flight. Cadets who successfully complete this course are not only mentally stronger, but will join the ranks of a multi-decade long tradition dating back to World War II. Graduates of BAC qualify to wear the coveted Airborne Badge.
