Elizabeth City State University’s Drug Information Center is a resource center which provides relevant, accurate, and unbiased drug information to healthcare professionals and the communities of northeastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia to optimize patient care.
Information about prescription and non-prescription medications including vitamins, minerals, dietary supplements and alternative therapies used to treat different disease states is available. In addition, the DIC has a strong outreach and patient education component.
The Drug Information Center is made possible by generous funding from the North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation. It is also sponsored by the ECSU Foundation and the UNC-Chapel Hill/ECSU Pharmacy Partnership Program.
Questions may be submitted to the Center by printing off the Information Request Form online and faxing it to the Drug Information Center at (252) 335-4268. There is no charge for any service offered by the Center.
