Learning Outcomes and Assessment

As the only four-year collegiate aviation program in the State of North Carolina, the mission of the Aviation Science Program is to provide quality aviation education programs to a diverse group of students, especially those who have been underrepresented in the aviation and aerospace industries.
Outcome 1
Students will be able to apply mathematics, science, and applied sciences to aviation related disciplines

Outcome 2
Students will be able to calculate aircraft performance problems.

Outcome 3
Students will be able to define various concepts, terms, and principles utilized by aviation personnel.

Outcome 4
Students will be able to interpret a range of information and data commonly used in the field of aviation.

Outcome 5
Students will be able to use the techniques, skills, and modern technology necessary for professional practice

Outcome 6
Students will be able to apply science and technology to current problems in the aviation industry.

Outcome 7
Students will be able to apply principle to real life demonstrate or practice.
