If interested in temporary, intermittent work as a Standardized Patient (SP) for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy - Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) campus Doctor of Pharmacy program, please visit the link above and complete an application. Currently, these positions are hired and paid by UNC School of Medicine. However, all work training and assignments are completed at Elizabeth City State University. Potential SPs, male and female, are needed in all adult age groups starting at 18 years of age. Work is not guaranteed, but is based on curriculum exam criteria and SP availability. In the PharmD program, SPs are used in the following exams: Standardized Patient Interview and Objective Structured Clinical Exams.
