HP Virtual Computing Lab

Department of Technology

Virtual Computing Lab funded through a HP Technology for Teaching grant is housed in the server area inside Rm222 of Dixon-Patterson Hall. The lab consists of 16 high performance graphics blade workstations housed in a protective enclosure. Each blade workstation has quad-processors and run Remote Graphics Software for easy access to software programs requiring high computation such as Solidworks, PRO Engineering, and MULTISIM. The blade workstations can be accessed remotely through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.
