Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Elizabeth City State University! The Department recently received approval for a Masters in Mathematics Program with concentrations in Mathematics Teaching, Applied Mathematics, and Remote Sensing. Its strong curriculum provides students with a high level of preparation for research as well as for professional employment with an emphasis on integrating theory and applications. The Departmental faculty members are well-qualified and have diverse research interests. It is recommended that prospective students contact the department as early as possible to discuss an appropriate program of study and to plan the sequencing of course requirements.
