The
Biology Department
The
Biology Department offers for its majors the Bachelor of Science Degree
in Biology with the following concentrations: Cell Biology, Ecology,
and Pre-Medicine/Pre-Dentistry. Biology majors wishing to pursue a secondary
teaching degree program must complete a major in Biology and a minor
in Secondary Education.

The
Department of Geological, Environmental & Marine Sciences offers
for its majors the Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, Geography,
Marine Environmental Sciences, and Geographic Information Systems GIS/Remote
Sensing.

The
Mathematics and Computer Science Department
The
Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers a Bachelors of
Science degree program in Mathematics and Computer Information Sciences.
The department also offers minors in Mathematics, Computer Science,
Statistics, Applied Mathematics, and Airway Science. The Airway Science
minor prepares students for careers in aviation as Air Traffic Controllers,
Aviation Service Managers, Computer Researchers, and other aviation-oriented
profession in government and private industry. Also, the department
offers general education courses in College Algebra and Pre-Calculus.

The
Chemistry & Physics Department
The
Department of Chemistry & Physics offers degrees in Chemistry and
Physics. The Chemistry degree program offers two options: Option I:
Provides undergraduate professional education in Chemistry, as well
a prepares students with education and training for graduate work for
higher degrees in chemistry. Option II: Prepares students for careers
in teaching in secondary schools (grades9-12) and careers in health
sciences including dentistry, medicine, pharmacy and veterinary medicine.

The
Department of Technology offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology
Education and Industrial Technology. Technology Education offers careers
in teaching. Industrial Technology offers careers in electronics, mechanical
and manufacturing industries.
