GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Lab Assistants or technicians can be of a technical or scientific background.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to monitor computer lab, maintain lab equipment, set labs, assist students, prepares chemical materials. Assist in performing assigned laboratory tasks without constant supervision. Provides assistance to staff as needed excluding if the majority of duties is of Administrative/Office Assistant nature.

Providing peer to peer guidance to students and/or serve as student leader.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To serve as student leader in the Office of Retention focusing on reaching out to the student population.
  • Peer to peer guidance to students who fall under the status of Waning, Probation, or Suspension.
  • Marketing and promoting of the Office of Retention and the Student Success Center
