Cost of Attendance (COA)

 
 

The COA is an estimate of what it will cost a student to attend ECSU for a given academic period (Fall & Spring).  A separate COA will be determined for students enrolling in the summer term.  The COA includes tuition & fees, room & board, books & supplies, transportation, and personal expenses.  The COA will vary depending on your current status (i.e. undergraduate, graduate, in-state, out-of-state, on-campus, off-campus) with the university. 

Students and their families are expected to make a reasonable effort to assist in financing educational expenses.  Financial aid assistance and other sources should be viewed as a supplement to the efforts of the family/student.  The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships cannot award over a student's COA.
