RE: Approval of ECSU Publications

The Department of University Relations & Marketing is responsible for overseeing the development of all university publications. Therefore, in an effort to ensure high quality, a consistent image, positive publicity and effective marketing of the university in publications, every publication must be approved by the Director of Publications before it is printed and/or placed on the website.

Such publications or items that include the university's name and logo:

  • Departmental brochures and folders
  • Manuals and Newsletters
  • Academic Catalogs
  • Program Booklets and Brochures-(official university events and other annual events)
  • Posters and Flyers
  • Magazines and newspapers
  • Display Boards
  • Presentation packages for conferences (hosted by ECSU)
  • University and Departmental logos
  • Invitations
  • Business Cards and Departmental letterhead/envelopes
  • Other departmental publications posted to the ECSU Website

The Office of University Relations & Marketing is currently developing an ECSU Graphics and Editorial Standards Guide that will help anyone who writes, edits, designs or present on behalf of ECSU. Whether you are communicating to prospective students or employees parents or community leaders, we want our message and images to reinforce each other.

Please complete a Publications Approval Form located on the website: forms and documents/University Relations and Marketing/Publications Approval Form at least (6) six weeks prior to your printing deadline.
