ECSU Offers Microsoft Office 365 to Campus
With O365, you can stay up-to-date with the latest version of MS Office, and install the MS Office applications on up to 5 phones, 5 tablets,
& 5 PCs or Macs!
**Please note: Faculty are currently teaching MS Office 2010, and may require that students use this version. If required by your teachers, please bring your laptop to IT to have this software installed by us.**
For our faculty and staff, O365 offers 50GB worth of email storage, alleviating the need to archive! Also, you may access the MS Office apps and edit files directly from your preferred web browser on any machine- from any location!

1. New students must request an account. To gain access to download Office 365, follow the steps outlined in the video below to Submit an IT Helpdesk Ticket at http://helpdesk.ecsu.edu.
In the Title field of your ticket, type "Office 365 Account Request"
In the Comment field of your ticket, enter the following:
> Your First, Middle and Last Names
> The last 4 digits of your SSN
> Your 9-digit 97#
2. You will receive an email after you have been granted access. You can then go to
portal.office.com and sign into the O365 portal with your school email (email@example.com
for students or firstname.lastname@example.org for faculty & staff) and the temporary password
provided to you in the email.
3. Get the latest version of MS Office products from the "Install Office 2016" link in the top right of your O365 home page.
