Banner Ancillary Applications

 

The ancillary applications for Banner are Applications Manager (formerly AppWorx), ePrint, FormFusion, Intellecheck, Operational Data Store (ODS)-Data Warehouse, Payment Gateway/Touchnet, Residential Management Systems (RMS), and WebFOCUS. Other departments across campus use applications that have a connection to Banner and provide end-user support which includes Blackboard, Nolij, NuVision, and Viking Shoppes.

Applications Manager for Job Scheduling

Applications Manager (formerly AppWorx) is the job scheduling, queue management and output viewing solution for Banner Job Submission. The Applications Manager allows:

  • A decrease of the time required for critical system processing;
  • Streamline the development of integrated job schedules;
  • Reduce errors and risk;
  • Free up staff for more productive tasks; and
  • Improve customer service and accountability.

Request Job Scheduling

  1. Go to Information Technology Forms & Documents.
  2. Select, fill out, and print the appropriate form:

ePrint

Banner ePrint is a web-based report distribution and archiving system. ePrint uses internet technology to distribute reports for authorized users in order to quickly and easily retrieve specific reports. Reports can be read within minutes after completion - no more waiting for campus mail.

Request an ePrint Report

Account access will be given based on departmental needs.

  1. Go to VikingNet.
  2. Log into VikingNet, select Information Technology, and select/fill out the appropriate online form:

Request a Password Modification (reset or unlock account)

This username and password is the same as your Banner INB account.

Residential Management Systems (RMS)

Residential Management Systems (RMS) is used only by Housing and Residence Life department. The RMS Housing Module manages the student housing operation and is an integrated web-based system. RMS Housing automatically streamlines processes including room assignment, accommodation management, inventory maintenance, and housekeeping.

Request RMS Access

Account access is given to Housing and Residence Life based on departmental needs.

Request RMS Export/Import Interface

  1. Launch your web browser and go to VikingNet.
  2. Log into VikingNet, select Information Technology, and select/fill out the appropriate online form:

WebFOCUS Reporting

WebFOCUS is an application tool used to retrieve data and reports from the Banner system via a web browser. Account access to WebFOCUS is based on departmental needs.
