What is Banner®?
Banner is a suite of administrative software applications developed specifically for higher education institutions.
Will my department/division have to pay for banner?
Will ECSU lose any existing functionality with banner?
There will surely be some existing functionality that will either not be available in Banner or whose processes will be different to accomplish the same end result. The formal Gap Analysis developed during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) analysis has identified the majority of missing or desired functionality.
What modules are available in Banner?
Banner consists of the following modules:
- Banner Alumni
- Banner Finance
- Banner Financial Aid
- Banner HR (Human Resources)
- Banner Student
What is a data steward?
Any employee who has been approved for access and use of Elizabeth City State University's administrative, electronic information and equipment, has read and signed the security agreement and given passwords by the university's administrative computing department.
