Labs & Instructional Classrooms

The Information Technology Center (ITC) is a state-of-the-art technology and collaboration facility at Elizabeth City State University. Offering flexible study spaces, multimedia services, and upgraded computer labs, the ITC is designed to support the academic and research goals of the entire campus community. Students are invited to conduct research or review online material in one of four computer labs that together hold over 100 high-speed computers. These labs represent the largest student computer resource on campus. Access the digital library, write a paper, create a video, check e-mail, or just surf the Web. Several work and study spaces designed for comfort, flexibility, and easy collaboration are also available. Work alone or with your study group.

Use of the ITC computer labs is open to all students, faculty, and staff at Elizabeth City State University. Computers are accessed with your ECSU ID. The service is provided at no additional cost. The purpose is to provide a public access lab in a safe and comfortable environment that meets the computing needs of the Elizabeth City State University community.

Lab Information

The Information Technology Center is the home for several public computer labs. It is maintained by the Office of Information Technology Client Services (IT Client Services). The computer lab provides free student access to more than 116 computers featuring Windows XP Professional operating systems. Software includes Microsoft Office with Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. . The center also has 16 system Macintosh computer lab. Lab staff are available to provide technical assistance as needed.
