The ECSU Office of Alumni Relations is working to develop Career Services for Alumni.

The Office of Career Services offers the following for ECSU alumni:

Career Assistance

Individual meetings with Career Center staff to assist in job and career searches or graduate school applications. For more information, contact Makitta Whitehurst-McLean in the Office of Career Services.

Networking Events and Career Fairs

The Career Center's Fall Career and Internship Fair and Spring Career and Internship Fair, are both open to alumni. Click HERE for career event information.

Center Events

These events include career panels, resume clinics, job search workshops and mock interview clinics. For more information, click HERE.


A secure place to keep letters of recommendation and background information in support of your applications for employment and graduate or professional school.

On-Campus Interviewing (OCI)

Many employers conduct interviews for full-time, part-time and internship positions in the Office of Career Services during the fall and spring semesters. Alumni are eligible to participate in OCI for the first 3 years following their graduation.

Career Panels

Participate in opportunities to share advice and insights into your career field before a group of current ECSU students.

Employment Opportunities and Internship Opportunities

Have your Human Resources Department contact us to promote internships, full- and part-time opportunities in your organization; conduct on-campus interviews; and set up employer information sessions. 

Mock Interview Clinics

Assist students with interview simulations in preparation for the real thing.

Viking Network

Become a resource for current students or recent alumni by registering your information. They will then have an opportunity to contact you for a brief informational interview.

Resume Clinics

Provide students with personalized feedback on their resumes in preparation for career fairs and interviews.
