Transfer Students

All applicants who have attended a post-secondary institution for any length of time since graduating high school are considered transfer students. Applicants must also meet all minimum transfer requirements. Transfer students will have their transcripts evaluated in relation to the requirements of the specific academic program for which they are applying. Courses to be transferred must be equivalent to the respective courses in degree programs at ECSU. Courses graded less than a "C" will not be accepted for transfer credit. ECSU will only accept courses from a regionally accredited institution. Transfer students need to have at least 24 transferable credit hours and a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Transfer students with less than 24 transferable hours must submit high school transcripts, along with SAT/ACT scores and meet (MCRs) to be considered for admissions.

Complete and submit the following to the Office of Admissions:

  • Submit an online Application link to form
  • Pay the $30 non-refundable application fee
  • Submit ALL Official transcripts (in signed/sealed envelopes) from each college or university attended Address for sending official documents
