Parents are key ambassadors and constituents of Elizabeth City State University, which makes parent giving a vital part of our yearly fundraising. When you give to ECSU as a parent, your gift provides support for all of our students' education.
Unfortunately, tuition and fees do not cover the full costs of providing highly qualified faculty, state-of-the-art technology, top notch facilities, maintenance, enhanced academic programs, extra-curricular activities, research opportunities, and support services. We rely on private support from individuals like you, given on an annual basis, to help close the gap not covered by tuition and state funding.
ECSU's giving year runs from July 1 to June 30. We encourage parents to consider an annual gift during that time. No amount is too small, and every gift counts. We depend on your support to continue ECSU's proud heritage and rich legacy of providing an academically rigorous education for all students.
The university was recently ranked #1 among Top Public Schools Regional Colleges (South) category and 18th among the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by the U.S. News & World Report's 2014 Edition. The generous support of parents helped to make our ranking possible.
Thank you for considering an annual gift to support ECSU. We encourage parental involvement in the university and in the life of your student.
