Resources

From the time a child is born until entering adulthood, parents, family members, guardians and even close mentors are that child's first and most important teachers. Your involvement through elementary and secondary school was important to your student's success. Even though your student is in college, your involvement is still a key factor in his or her continued growth and development.

We urge you to stay involved. Parents and families provide the guidance, emotional support, financial support and grounding many students need to achieve their goals while in college.

ECSU acknowledges the importance of parents and families to the university's success. Your voice and your active involvement, as well as your financial contributions, help to keep ECSU among the top Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and among the top public universities in the South. You are a vital part of the Viking Family!

This page with links to important campus information and resources has been created so you will be informed of campus news, activities and events. We hope this information, in addition to your membership in the Viking Parents Club, will keep you connected to ECSU.
