10:00am – MLK Day March
G.R. Little Library onto Parkview Drive to Southern Avenue to Water Street then to Main Street and ends at the Pasquotank County Courthouse.

MLK Celebration
Begins immediately following the march at the Pasquotank Count Courthouse.

Featured Speaker: Rev. Curtis Everette Gatewood
Rev. Curtis Everette Gatewood is best known for his enduring state and local NAACP leadership, Christian ministerial activism, community service and high visibility on the battlefield for justice. He is the Founder and Minister of a new social justice ministry known as J.U.S.T.I.C.E. Ministration. “JUSTICE” is the acronym for “Jesus Uniting Souls To Increase Community Engagement.” Gatewood is married to the loving, dedicated, and beautiful Odessa Burnette Gatewood. They are the parents of Desmera Curtise Gatewood and Anthony Hawkins.
