Getting A Room

 

Returning Residents

1. Pay the $125 application fee

Payment options:

  • In person (cash, check, money order or credit card)  Thorpe Administration Bldg., 1st floor
  • By mail ( check  or money order) 121 Marion D. Thorpe Administration Bldg. 
    Campus, Box 950, Elizabeth City, NC 27909
  • Via  the One Time Credit Card Authorization Form

2. Once the application fee has been processed, you may visit or call the Office of Housing and Residence Life (Griffin Hall, Suite 400, 252-335-3761) to be assigned a room.

New Students

1. Complete the Housing Application

2. Submit the Housing Application to the Office of Housing and Residence Life (Griffin Hall, Suite 400, Elizabeth City, NC 27909)

3. Pay the $125 application fee

Payment options:

  • Via the One Time Credit Card Authorization Form 

4. Check your room assignment by visiting  https://ecsurms.uncecs.edu/

 Use your Student ID (97 Number) as your USER NAME and PASSWORD.

Allow two weeks to process payment before checking your room assignment.

 

Residence Hall Check-In

 

1. Students checking into our residence halls should unload all of their belongings in the designated areas.

2. Parking in front of the halls is limited.  If possible, an individual should stay with the belongings while the vehicle is moved to the lot reserved for move-in.

3. Students should report to the check-in area for their residence hall assignments and present identification.

4. Students will be asked to complete the following:

  • Residence cards (includes names, addresses and phone numbers of emergency contact)
  • Room Condition Report (an inventory of your new room's condition)

5. Students will receive their room key(s) and keyless access.
