Welcome
Elizabeth City State University's Drug Information Center is a resource center which provides information about prescription and non-prescription medications including vitamins, minerals, dietary supplements and alternative therapies used to treat different disease states. The Center provides relevant, accurate, and unbiased drug information to healthcare professionals and the community-at-large of northeastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia.
In addition, the DIC has a strong academic component designed to enable students to gain experience in provision of drug information to enable utilization of drug information skills and resources. The Center is made possible by generous funding from the North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation. It is also sponsored by the ECSU Foundation and the UNC-Chapel Hill/ECSU Pharmacy Partnership Program.
