Dr. Jin is an Assistant Professor of Management. She holds a B.E. in Machine Design and Manufacture from Tsinghua University, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Manufacturing Management from The University of Toledo, and a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Management from The University of Toledo’s College of Business Administration. She has held the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS since 2006. Dr. Jin received ECSU summer research grant in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012 and published referred paper in International Journal of Production Economics, Human Resource Management, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, Management Research Review, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalisation, and Journal of Operations and Supply Chain Management. She also has numerous proceedings in the national and regional conferences. Her research interests include e-service, flexibility, supply chain management, organizational resources and power, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Dr. Jin has taught various management courses, including Operations Management, Business Research and Report Writing, Quantitative Methods, Organizational Behavior, Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Database Management Systems, and Data Analysis for Business. She received the Departmental Teacher of the Year award for 2012-2013. Dr. Jin advised a student organization Enactus-Entrepreneurial Action Us (formerly SIFE-Student in Free Enterprise) and this organization received two $1500 grants in 2012-2013. She also advised students in the first UNC Social Business Competition and the team made to the final round. Dr. Jin also advised several students to present posters or oral presentations in ECSU's Undergraduate Research Day every year since 2011.
