Dr. Hasan received his PhD and MS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) in 2010 and 2008, respectively. He also received MSc and BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2004 and 2002, respectively. He joined in Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) in 2010. Earlier, he was a faculty in BUET and Teaching/Research Assistant in UTD. During Summer 2008 and Summer 2009, he was a full-time intern at Fujitsu, Inc., Texas, which yielded two USA patents. He is a member of IEEE since 2006. His research areas include survivability of optical and wireless networks, wireless network coexistence, and green telecommunications.
