Course Substitutions and Waivers

Only under special circumstances will substitution for or exemption from the prescribed curriculum be permitted. To substitute or waive a course, students must submit a request on the appropriate form to their advisor. The form must be approved by the Advisor, Graduate Program Coordinator, Department Chairperson, Dean of the School in the discipline in which students are seeking a degree, the Director of Graduate Education, and the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
