EDUC 612: Home, School and Community Relations (3)
Educational leaders use their knowledge of the social and cultural contexts that shape students to support child-centered productive relationships. In this course, students will use a case-study approach to investigate these relationships. Included will be an examination and analysis of these institutions and the impact of mass media on public support. Analyses must include suggestions or modifications that reflect their deeper understanding of the interrelationship of contexts in supporting instruction from a child-centered point of view. Participants will develop and present a workshop informed by the case analysis.
