EDUC 621: Seminar in Leadership Development (1)*
Accomplished teachers collaborate with peers, share expertise, mentor less experienced colleagues, and contribute to their school and professional field. This course helps teachers become effective mentors and collaborators. Team building and leadership and clinical supervision are central topics in the course. Teachers plan, carry out, and reflect upon a series of activities that place them in these roles, including mentoring initially-licensed or student teachers in their classroom or on their school site.
