ECSU students join Community Bike Ride series

ECSU students Donyai Moffatt (Mr. ECSU), Kiyana Merritt, and D'Andra Drewitt recently joined area residents at Mariner's Wharf for the Community Bike Ride series in downtown Elizabeth City. Elizabeth City Parks and Recreation will have a limited number of bikes available for check out on October 5 and 12, the final two Sundays of this Community Bike Ride series. Walkers are welcome to participate. Please wear either pink T-shirts and/or pink ribbons in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month or purple T-shirts and/or purple ribbons in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness month. The City Council also declared October as ECSU Month. The following streets will be closed for the bike ride and walkers are welcome to use the sidewalks on the same streets: Start at Mariner's Wharf----from there use E Church Street to S Elliott Street, S Elliott Street to E Main Street along E Main Street to S Poindexter Street back to E Church Street
