Dedicated to a sense of honor, Marine Corps Officers have the pride and discipline associated with leading the smallest Combat Arms Force in the U.S. Armed Services.  Two options exist to attain a commission in the Marine Corps through Officer Candidates School (OCS).  Platoon Leaders Class (PLC) is available to college Freshman and Sophomores and consists of two six-week summer training sessions or one 10-week combined session.  Officer Candidates Course (OCC) is available to college Juniors and Seniors and consists of one 10-week training session.

Basic Qualifications

  • Upstanding, competitive, and physically fit men or women between 18 and 28 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Currently enrolled full time (12 credits or more), or have graduated from an accredited, four-year college or university.  Students in two-year colleges can sign a letter of intent to later transfer to a four-year university.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Must meet Marine Corps Height/Weight Standards
  • Must be physically qualified (attain a 225 or better on the USMC Physical Fitness Test)
  • Must be mentally qualified (e.g. meet at least one of the following: SAT score of 1000+, Comp. ACT score of 22+, AFQT Score of 74+ on the ASVAB)

Position Details

Vanguard, one of the world's largest investment management companies and a recognized employer of choice, seeks a client relationship administrator who will function as the primary client representative for assigned high net worth clients. Our ideal candidate is someone who can quickly build and sustain positive relationships between the client and Vanguard. As a consultant to the client, the client relationship administrator will manage client needs and implement solutions.  

Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day support of assigned book of business.
  • Using Vanguard products and services to strategically meet client needs.
  • Communicating with clients and coworkers at all levels of the organization, including executives.
  • Building and maintaining a deep knowledge of the Vanguard investment philosophy and financial services industry.
  • Identifying client risks or opportunities and effectively responding to client needs.
  • Employing a consultative approach to identify, articulate, and align the product solution with each strategic goal and objective.
  • Providing status updates on assigned accounts, regularly monitoring overall account health, client feedback status, opportunities, and risks.
  • Being the client advocate and advising department management on matters in the best interest of the client and Vanguard.
  • Collecting and keep Vanguard data current in the internal CRM system for assigned client base.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with financial services and investments preferred.
