BIOL 495: Biology Seminar (1) (F;S)
This capstone course is designed to evaluate the student's ability to successfully verbally communicate complex scientific concepts as the culmination of nearly four years of matriculation. Content focuses on recent advances and problems in biology with strong emphasis on individual student participation and general discussion. Students may be required to perform internal/external standardized knowledge and critical thinking exams outside the meeting period. Lecture: one hour.
Prerequisites: Senior classification Biology major or Marine Environmental Science major or Department consent.
