CJ 208: Drugs, Alcohol, and Crime (3) (F or S)
This course is designed to explore the relationship of crime to alcohol and narcotics use. Characteristics of individuals likely to use illicit drugs will be examined in the conflict between individual freedom and society's desire to control drug use, as well as facts and myths regarding the role alcohol and other drugs play in criminal behavior. Strategies to combat the growing problem will be identified. No Prerequisite.
