EDUC 429: Music Methods in the Secondary School (3) (F;S)

Methods course designed for the secondary school level. Music education theories of learning and development that includes: methods, materials, curricula, philosophy, lesson planning, strategies, assessment, financial management, and techniques for teaching music. Introduction of classroom instruments, recorder, guitar, and computer literacy. Classroom observation required.

Prerequisites: Consent of Department Chairperson; Admission to Teacher Education.
