GE 103: English Composition and Vocabulary (3) (F;S;SS)

This course is a continuation of writing the essay. Emphasis is on advanced academic writing assignments including cultural and societal analyses, persuasive writing, interpreting and evaluating literature, and writing in the workplace. Research methods and the development of a major research paper with appropriate documentation, will be a primary focus of the course. The course will take an interdisciplinary approach to writing and highlight the interrelationships among writing, reading and critical thinking. A minimum of fifteen pages of written work is required.
