GE 109: Introduction to College Mathematics (3) (F;S; SS)
This course provides a review of the fundamentals of algebra, including operations on real numbers, first-degree equations and inequalities with applications, polynomials and exponents, rational expressions, rational exponents and radicals. Three contact hours are required per week. Mathematics/independent lab sessions will be scheduled by the specialists. Students are assigned to the class based on the Mathematics Placement Test. A minimum grade of "C" is required to pass the course. Course credits cannot be used to fulfill graduation requirements.
