GEOG 406: Geography of the U.S. and Canada (3)
The study of the historical creation and expansion of North America from African, Asian, and European influences. It explores the contemporary geography of the continent which includes cultural regions, economic characteristics, and political variations. The course also includes the study of the continent's physical and human geography and the interactions between these two elements of the discipline.
Prerequisites: GE 142 and 9 hours of Geography courses.
