GEOG 409: Urban Geography (3)
The study of human interaction within urban environments including the ways in which people perceive, define, and behave in the structured world cities and metropolitan areas. Cultural and social differences among ethnic and racial groups are discussed. Also the review of the city as a physical phenomenon and its historical growth patterns and the consequences of this growth within various regions of the world.
Prerequisites: GE 142 and 9 hours of Geography courses.
